Tom Schauer

Tom Schauer is vice president of portfolio management at Kennedy Associates Real Estate Counsel, a Seattle-based investment advisor to some of the country’s largest institutional pension plans.  His focus is on client relations and business development.  A native of Long Island, Tom holds a B.S. in accounting from the State University of New York at Oneonta and is a licensed certified public accountant in New York and Washington states.  He is currently enrolled in the Charted Financial Analyst (CFA) program administered by the CFA Institute.  Prior to joining Kennedy, he worked for JP Morgan as a portfolio financial manager for real estate investment funds.  Tom’s philosophy of life is always to continue learning.  He strives to be better at something or more fulfilled every year than he was the year before.  He enjoys using his skills in accounting and finance to help Crooked Trails make a difference in the lives of people around the world.  A lifelong baseball and football fan, Tom looks forward to broadening his horizons on a Crooked Trails travel program in the near future.
