Havana Nights

Grab your Sundress & Sandals, Guayabera Shirt & Fedora or go All White – celebrate the summer – Cuban Style! Join us for the 2nd Annual HAVANA NIGHTS at Canvas Event Space!

HAVANA NIGHTS was a HIT last year, so we’re bringing it back! Bigger & better venue with more room for Old American car show, dancing, drinking, music, and eating!

Your Havana Nights Event Ticket includes:

*Cuban dinner expertly catered by Geo’s Cuban & Creole Cafe

Menu: Fricase de Pollo – a delicious slow roasted chicken cooked in a succulent broth with potatoes, green olives, onions, peppers and capers.

Morros y Christianos – Traditional Cuban rice and beans with a savory blend of spices, peppers and onions.

Mini Media Noche Sandwiches – Sweet Cuban bread with sliced hickory ham, slow roasted pork, Swiss cheese, dill pickles and mustard. Pressed and served warm.

Mixed Green Salad

*One drink ticket (Rum, Wine & Bubbly, Beer)

TROPICANA CLUB – We’ll bring the world-renowned cabaret and club in Havana to life! Lots of lights and palm trees, showgirls and amazing music (and maybe a few mobsters). SuperSones, will be playing traditional Cuban Son music (the roots of Salsa). Conga drum performances. Showgirls (voluptuous, cabaret sequin-and-feather musical theater!!) and more.

Experiential Rooms: EL FLORDITA BAR – Hemingway’s Haunt Ernest Hemingway lived in Cuba for 20 years, and was the inspiration for the Hemingway Daiquiri (half the sugar and double the booze!) Daiquiris will only be served in the El Flordita Bar – world globes; overstuffed leather chairs; books, books, and more books).

THE REVOLUTION ROOM: Che Guevara was a major figure of the Cuban Revolution. In this room, you’ll be able to buy all kinds of items with Che’s iconic face on it (t-shirts, posters, bags and more….brought back from Cuba by Crooked Trails). We’ll also be serving the Che Revolution Cocktail (light rum, pineapple juice, maple syrup and mint leaves).

*DJ spinning Cuban and Latin dance tunes – get ready to dance!!! (We’ll have music inside and outside at the cigar lounge/bar too!)

*OUTDOOR CIGAR LOUNGE – selling REAL Cuban Cohiba cigars!!! for you to puff on. You can also buy a case to take home if you want! Supplies limited.

-Dominoes tables; play Dominoes with old Cuban guys and your friends!
-Outdoor muralist(s) painting lifesize+ colorful murals, just like in Havana

*ONE RAFFLE TICKET TO WIN A TRIP TO CUBA!!! (Does not include airfare, and is good for one person to travel to Cuba, expertly arranged by – Winner has one year to redeem and use the trip)
